Personally, I don't read reviews ow watch videos or listen to audio of a new attraction until after I experience it myself. I like to be surprised and not hear any spoilers regarding it.I do think the attraction will largely be subjective and depend on the crowd and the jokes. The hurdle for Monsters is they NEED to be funny, whereas Turtle Talk could be funny but if it wasn't, it's ok because it's goal is really to educate.
