I would say M:S was a stroke of bad luck. They shot perhaps a bit too high and failed.

You need to bring in the people. I loved Horizons–but it lived past its time. As far as Walt not changing anything? Please! He changed Disneyland more in his 10 years than has almost happened since. I believe in the mantra of “What Would Walt Do”

It is more an inspiration to create an environment where people, families and friends can have a good time together. To create a place they want to be. There needs to be a good mix of attractions to please as many people as possible.

My thought about losing Horizons is more for nostalgia’s sake. I know that it wouldn’t stand the test of time, but will Mission: Space? MS has such a narrow rider base. I’ve done it twice and I don’t have an interest in doing it again. But it *is* driving more people in to the park.

Like Nemo–it may not be the best attraction–but I can’t think of a better property to have in an aquarium. I just think the Nemo ride needed to be a little bigger and grander in scale. Just like the movie!
