Yes we are.

And NO! Not a Tie-Fighter school! Imperial scum! X-Wing, B-Wing or even the awesome A-Wings!

And actually, the label of Episode IV was put on the print release after Empire Strikes Back. They re-released the film (Star Wars: A New Hope) to theaters in 1981 with the Episode IV tag added to the crawl.

I remember watching Empire in the theaters in 1980 and being blown away when we saw it was Episode V.

Sigh…

Well, Brian if you are old enough like me to remember when the film came out the first film was “Star Wars” not “A New Hope”. That name only came later when the vidoes were released. So as a point of nit picking, the Ewoks were not in “Star Wars”.

Also, the whole use of “Episode” was used in the opening text, but only the prequels actually used it in the marketing as a title. Look at the old posters, they said “Return of the Jedi” in large print and then Star Wars in much smaller print. Man, we’re getting pretty geeky here…

A small bit of geeky nit-picking here:

All six movies in the series fall under the name “Star Wars,” as in “Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope” and “Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi.” So the construction filing is accurate.

Maybe they can do an older person’s Jedi Academy Training.
