Our first column on WDW News Today

Tom from WDW News Today, a great Disney World news site, has asked me to write the occassional comment for the articles section of his site.  I figured I have enough opinions to spread around, so I accepted.  Today is the debut of my column.  Click here to read it.  If you’d like to discuss it a bit, try the Disney News Network Forums.

Main Street Station

The column discusses the recent and future changes coming to the Magic Kingdom.  When all is said and done, the person who has not visited the Kingdom since the 1970’s will barely recognize the place.  Change is coming to this magical place, whether we like it or not.  Can you handle the change?

I read the article and it was pretty good.

However, I still don’t agree with your assessment that the Carousel of Progress might be going away.

After all, the plans for the rumored Tomorrowland E-Ticket currently DON’T include the demolition of the CoP, just the former Skyway station and the Galaxy Palace Theater.

Well, the plans for said e-ticket have not been finalized from what I understand. I have heard both versions. CoP will not be there forever, that you can be sure of.

And I’m in the camp of those who believe that no matter what happens, the CoP will endure, even if they move it to another park.

After all, that attraction has become too big a part of Disney’s history and legacy to get abandoned completely.
