Cars Land will be 12 acres. But that includes two other smaller rides besides the "Radiator Springs Racers". While I'd like to see some creativity and innovation in the form of some kind of E-ticket family ride, I'd take the RSRacers over the Speedway any day. At least I think I would... considering all we have to go on is one drawing.

Here's my thoughts on the DCA expansion: http://www.july171955.com/b2evolution/index.php?blog=2&title=dca_to_get_extreme_makeover&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1

The old 20k lagoon would be a perfect spot for a Mermaid attraction at MK. One thing to notice about the Mermaid concept art though, is that it is not the same ride system. The DVD showed a suspended vehicle like Peter Pan's Flight that goes above and below the water line. The concept art shows the clamshells from the Epcot Nemo ride and no above/below water effect.

Supposedly, the Cars attraction is supposed to take up a huge amount of land, certainly more than is available at the Magic Kingdom. There is a Rumor that the attraction will replace the Backlot tour at the studios, there is a lot more room availble there and adjacent. I'll have more on this on our podcast this week.

I think you have to agree the ideas presented here are good and steps in the right direction for the park.
