Like Matt said, it all has to do with Disney’s contract with Nestle. When we want a good cup of coffee we drive off property to the nearest Starbucks. Some would say that isn’t good coffee, but it’s a lot better than the black swill you find at WDW. Disneyland is a little better because you can walk to La Brea bakery right outside the gates in Downtown Disney for a good cup of joe. And putting aside the bad coffee for a sec, have you tried the hot chocolate? Ugh!! Just as bad.

The reality is it’s all about corporate sponsorship. Nestle has their deal for their god-awful coffee and that’s the end of it.
